Over the holiday break I decided to read Chi Discovering Your Life Energy by Master Waysun Liao. What a great read! I have learned about Chi, our life energy that flows through our entire bodies. To be honest my Chi doesn't flow all the way down through my legs; it is disturbed by some kind of a traffic. Maybe that is the reason I feel pain. I also started to do some meditation and faced a huge problem. I need to relearn how to breath. When a baby is born his/her breathing goes all the way down to the lower abdominal. In my case, it ends in my lungs. Soon it will end in my throat and sooner or later it will stop at all.
I decided to start this blog for two major reasons. My personal health is affected by stress and anxiety that somehow penetrate my mind and body. I believe I need to to treat the core of what is happening to my physical body and heal it more natural way. In order to survive in this fast moving lifestyle I definitely need to make my mind and body immune to the artificial environment. I want to rebuild and restore my life energy so I can live a real and better life. I know there are many readings and research to be done but I am charged up to start living a healthy life. Being surrounded with children everyday of my life makes me wonder how they cope with stress and anxiety that our educational system puts on them. It definitely stresses me out to find time during each day to cover national requirements (Common Core Standards). I cannot imagine what five and six year old children must be going through. In addition to learning English, they need to meet common core and be successful in life. Wish me good luck with introducing my Polish speaking kids to Tai Chi. Not only am I hoping to provide them with new language experiences but to show them ways to find their inner peace and discover immunity to stress and anxiety.
